GitConnect Pro: end of life

GitConnect Pro is no longer maintained as of June 7, 2026. Thanks to everyone who used them.

What this means

• The GitConnect Pro web app at gitconnect.pro is shut down.
• Existing GitConnect Pro Desktop installations will keep running locally, but will not receive updates, and GitHub login may stop working once its GitHub App is revoked.
• Pro subscriptions have been cancelled. If you believe you are owed a refund and have not received one, email owenpkent@gmail.com.
• Source code remains archived at github.com/okstudio1/gitconnect for historical reference.

What continues

Two products carry forward as their own projects:

MacroVox is a Windows dictation app: press a shortcut, speak, and get clean text in any app you are using. It is now its own product, rebuilt on a native Rust core.

• Product: macrovox.tech

VoxIDE is a voice-controlled IDE designed specifically for blind and mobility-impaired developers. Every action is voice-driven and every response is spoken back via text-to-speech. It is bring-your-own-key (Deepgram and Anthropic), with no GitHub login and no subscription.
