When you sign in with GitHub, we receive:

• Your email address (if public on GitHub)

We collect information about how you use GitConnect:

• API usage counts (for subscription limits)

• Error logs for debugging

Voice Data

When you use voice features:

• Audio is streamed to Deepgram for transcription
• We do not store audio recordings
• Transcriptions are processed in real-time and not permanently stored

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We only store:

• Stripe customer ID
• Subscription status
• Subscription period dates

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the GitConnect service
• Process your subscription and payments
• Track usage for subscription limits
• Improve our service and fix bugs

GitConnect integrates with:

• GitHub — For authentication and repository access
• Deepgram — For voice transcription
• Anthropic (Claude) — For AI code generation

• Supabase — For user data storage
• Netlify — For hosting

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using:

• Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Secure token storage in your browser's localStorage

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data

We use browser localStorage to store:

• GitHub authentication token
